Election for Event Directors:
We are going to start taking nominations for event directors immediately by email or text until February 15, 2017. The election for the event directors will take place at the first rodeo in April. If a rodeo gets added before the rodeo in April it will take place at that rodeo. Please make sure the person you nominate accepts the nomination before submitting a name. Submit nominees to: email@example.com or text to 918-931-8784. Email is preferred but if you don't have access to email then text is fine. Please include the nominees name and contact number in the email/text and the person who nominated them. The nominees and nominators must be INFR card holders or at least planning on buying one before the first rodeo of the season. We, the board, combined some of the events together so some directors will be responsible for 2 events. See below.
BB and SB – will be 1 event director to cover both since we have just a couple of these at each rodeo.
CR, SW, Ladies BKA, Open TR, and Sr TR – will have separate event directors
Bull riding and Jr Bulls – will be 1 director to cover both events.
Sr BKA and Jr BKA – will be 1 director to cover both events.
Ladies Barrels racing and Jr Barrels – will be 1 director to cover both events.
Note: if an elected event director will not be at the first performance of a rodeo then he/she may designate an alternate director to act on their behalf at the performance. This can change as needed. The alternate does not have to be the same person at every rodeo.
